Just a short few months after his last collaboration album "Drought Season 2" with San Francisco, CA Rapper Berner, the Jacka begins his 2010 collaborating on another street project with native Richmond, CA Rapper Laroo Tha Hard Hitta.
The massive request of collaborations with the Jacka, has resulted in another quality project making noise in the streets. Fans alike have received the project well, as it's already produced a few radio singles including 20 Bricks, Dip featuring Matt Blaque and Kiera D, and the fan interacting favourite Everybody Say.
Included in the "Neva Be The Same" packaging, is also a 35 minute mini-movie DVD featuring the Jacka and Laroo, showcasing their acting skills with upcoming movies already in the works.

R.I.P Teddy Pendergrass
R&B singer Teddy Pendergrass has passed away after a battle with colon cancer.
Philadelphia born Teddy was lead singer with Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes in the 1970’s he later left to embark on a solo career and released many hits like ‘Turn off the Lights’ and ‘Close The Door’. In 1982 Pendergrass was involved in a car accident which left him paralyzed from his waist down. Last year he underwent surgery for colon cancer and had difficulty recovering which lead to his untimely death on Wednesday 13th February 2010. The world has lost another great…R.I.P Mr Teddy Pendergrass.

Taken from Press Release: BLACKING UP: Hip-Hop's Remix of Race and Identity explores racial identity through the lens of hip-hop music and culture. The film focuses in particular on the tensions that surround white identification with hip-hop. Popularly referred to by derogatory terms such as "wannabe" or "wigger," the white person who identifies with hip-hop often invokes heated responses. For some, it is an example of cultural progress - a movement toward a color-blind America. For others, it's just another case of cultural theft and mockery - a repetition of a racist past.
Showing the parallels between the figure of the white hip-hopper and previous incarnations of white identification with black culture, BLACKING UP: Hip-Hop's Remix of Race and Identity highlights a lineage that includes blackface performers such as Al Jolson, jazz figures like the "hipster" and the "white negro," and rock-and-roll icons like Elvis Presley. White participants in the film discuss where they see their place in hip-hop, reflecting earnestly on how they have been affected by the words "wigger" or "wannabe." Black participants debate what white adoption of hip-hop might mean today, considering past instances of appropriation and mockery of black cultural expression. All participants' praises and criticisms contribute to an understanding of how race functions in America today.
Notable entertainers, historians, and cultural critics also contribute to the discussion, including Amiri Baraka (cultural critic/author of Blues People), Russel Simmons (CEO Def Jam Records), Chuck D. (rapper for Public Enemy), Vanilla Ice (rapper), DJ Kool Herc (hip-hop's "founding father"), Paul Mooney (comedian/writer for The Chapelle Show, among others).

Legendary West Coast, Bay Area rapper MACSHAWN100 is set to release a brand new single, studio album, and has inked a deal with Snoop Dogg and Priority Records.
The new single ‘And U Do Know That’ has been serviced, and is receiving support in clubs and at the mixshow level on radio. The single is supported by a new video by noted director Dah Dah, with cameo appearances from DJ Quik, Too Short, Mistah FAB, Rappin 4-Tay, Daz Dillinger, and Snoop Dogg.
