Tha Eastsidaz' Big Trey Deee, Lench Mob's J-Dee and Urban Lit Griot Anthony Barrow release a book

Tracy Davis aka Big Tray Deee from Snoop’s Tha Eastsidaz group and JDee founding member of Ice Cube's Lench Mob have not let serving time stop their flow. The former West Coast rap legends have teamed up with incarcerated urban lit griot Anthony Barrow to write "Los Angeles Tymez: Urban Tales," which is the debut release from Tray Deee's and Barrow's joint venture, Ave Money Publishing. With a vision to shed light on the streets that they know and have experienced first-hand, the duo will also be publishing other books via their imprint.

Explains Tray Deee, "We are all the products of and respected factors in the inner city community, not just spectators aiming to exploit and profit from someone else's hardships. We are not only in a position to deliver accurate depictions of street life, but we can also deter others from taking the destructive paths we have taken, as well as offer a home and access with our publishing company to potential writers who share our vision."

In addition to forming and co-owning Ave Money Publishing, Tray Deee is not letting the music go this year he will drop a new album "Long Beach State of Mind." He is due to be released from prison early next year.
